Many of us who watched the Zoom Reinvented keynote live from Pier 92 or via live webcast have seen Kristina Björknäs and Juha Alakarhu assisting Nokia‘s CEO Stephen Elop with the live demonstatration & QA of the Lumia 1020. They showed us why the Lumia 1020 lives up to the hype with and after the keynote I was eager to check out this gorgeous 41 MP PureView Zeiss Optics device as soon as the door to the demo area opened.
While I was walking around to check out the different demo areas after the keynote I ran into Kristina Björknäs, who agreed to do video demo of the Lumia 1020 for our readers. Kristina was very enthusiastic about the bee video she introduced during the keynote and wanted to show us a 720p version of the video. We grabbed something to drink and looked for a place to shoot the demo.
It’s amazing how much detail you can see on the 4.5 inch WXGA (1280×786) screen and the sound was incredible crisp.
After the bee video demo, Kristina asked if I wanted to see video editing/trimming in action. I use my Lumia 920 for most of the video I upload to our YouTube site and have voiced my opinion a few times about no being able to edit/trim the video on the fly. Presently, I have to move the files to either my PC or Mac to make any adjustments and that can be very cumbersome. In the second part of the Nokia Innovation exclusive demo by Kristina, you will see Kristina demonstrate how to edit two video files she has on her Lumia 1020.
Towards the end of the video Kristina was trying to look for another app that is not released yet and I believe I will definitely use this app in the future. Sorry about the tease and you can watch the demo below.
