A new advert for the Nokia Asha 501 titled The Z Story – #colorisin has been uploaded to Nokia India’s YouTube channel. which can only be described as… Moody? Edgy? Well see for yourself below.
Set in Mumbai, the video is narrated by someone who describes themselves as being “Old, very old” and say’s they have “lived on the streets for ages”. We also see someone appear to spit blood* on the ground. Not your typical advert, nor what we have come to expect from Nokia, not that I’m saying it is a bad advert. I guess you have to judge for yourself. The overall message seems to be that life is better with more colour, a reference to the bright bold colours which the Asha 501 comes in.
Let us know what you think of the ad.
*Update We have been informed by our readers in the comments section that it is not blood on the ground but an Indian dish called Paan. Thanks for the information Darshan and Ahlun.
