One of the questions I get asked a lot on Twitter is “Does Windows Phone support the Hindi language?” I got up with the official support account for Windows Phone on Twitter (WindowsPhoneSupport) and they told me that in fact Hindi is supported on Windows Phone 8 but not on Windows Phone 7.
When asked the natural follow up question if support is coming for it in Windows Phone 7 I was told: “Nothing has been announced but if we hear anything, we’ll let all our followers know.” There you go. If I hear anything about upcoming support for Windows Phone 7 devices I will let you know.
