While I wasn’t aware of the exact number I do remember that Windows Phone did seem to have a cap on how big of file you could download over your cellular Network. (It was 20 MB by the way) While it was put there to save you sticker shock at the end of the month when you got your bill it was annoying to say the least. Now it seems that it’s not gone but the limit has been raised.
According to the folks over at Windows Phone Central the limit has now been more than double to around 50MB. This is a pleasant surprise being that there has been no official word from Microsoft on this update. Is this update going to change your world in some huge way? No….it’s just good to know you can now use your data anyway you see fit.
