It seems to continue to be true that even though Windows Phone users do not make up a huge percent of the smartphone market they are the most satisfied with their devices overall. Case in point? On Amazon.com’s list of “Top Rated Cell Phones with service plans” SEVEN of the top ten are Nokia Lumias. (For those of you keeping score the next top rated Windows Phone device that is not a Lumia is in 30th. The HTC 8X)
This is great news for Windows Phone and Nokia alike. This is how companies and eco-systems really grow. You put out a great product that people are hugely satisfied with, they brag to their friends about how great their phone is than their friends buy it and the cycle starts over.
This is the type of experience that keep iPhone user buying anything that Apple puts out without thinking. Windows Phone grew slowly last year and really ramped up in the 4th Qtr. I have a feeling that this accelerated growth will continue and intensify in 2013 with Nokia best in show hardware and exclusive apps leading the way.
