The AT&T LG Optimus G, a powerful quad-core Android offering in the AT&T lineup, is a good option for customers looking for leading edge performance in today’s handset market. The Optimus G features a Snapdragon S4 1.5Ghz Quad-core processor, 4G LTE speeds on the AT&T network, and an expansive 4.7″ True HD IPS Plus display. No doubt, multimedia enthusiasts and Android gamers alike can benefit (and salivate) from these beefy specs.
From my brief experience using a trial unit from AT&T, the LG Optimus G performed commendably fast in everyday usage, fetching and rendering complex webpages, juggling multiple apps, and paging through menus. Battery life was surprisingly hardy as well, with ample power leftover even after a full day’s worth of moderate usage, despite the potent quad-core processor.
