I think we are now witnessing the last days of Symbian.
I just read this article on DailyMobile by Kevin Everett which suggests that Nokia has halted development for the Symbian^3 OS.

So it looks like we are in the end of days for Symbian? or maybe the team is just taking a break from the awesome Symbian Belle FP2 update that just got pushed out.
Let’s hope it’s the latter. If not, it looks like “Apocalypse Now” for Symbian!
