The good folks at Nokia Connects sent us a multiple mobile image award winning Nokia 808 PureView last week and when it arrived on Friday I asked my wife to use it for the first two days. She still uses an N8 and is familiar with the Symbian S^3 OS and she didn’t have any issues navigating around the device. Her first reaction was that the 808 PureView feels heavier than her N8 and it has a removable cover. I was secretly hoping we would receive the red 808 PureView but the white one was in the box which definitely looks better than the black version but nothing tops the red variant.
I took the device with me on a trip to Manhattan, NY and shot a handful of pics near Time Square. After I got back to Philadelphia, I decided to take a few pics of Pennsylvania Station and Center City Philadelphia area. Please click on this link to view our 808 PureView photo set on Flickr.
The price for the Nokia 808 PureView has dropped to $599.99 today on Amazon.com, which is $100 cheaper than MSRP.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the device.
