Even thought there are ton of great Twitter clients out there for Windows Phone I always held out hope that Jan Ole would change his mind and bring Gravity to Windows Phone.
Well guess what? That door is now officially closed and it’s not going to happen…ever.
Check out this round of tweets that My Nokia Blog picked up on twitter:
Perhaps not as crazy as Jan Ole thinks it is….Think about it Nokia has officially said Bye, Bye to Symbian and they have a developer who refuses to make the move to Windows Phone. Why would Nokia keep sending him free phones and keeping supporting that developer? That is like Google giving Android phones to a developer who stopped making Android apps and now only make apps for the iPhone.
While I am disappointed that I will not get another app from Jan Ole ever again I can’t really fault Nokia for making the move.
i support jan ole suhr decision by not supporting window.I also will not support any lumia or window os and will probably move to android after using nokia 808 or hope other maker continues symbian.Even if i want to use window os,nokia will not in my list.If they can abandon symbian like that then they will not get my support anymore.Symbian and camera is the reason i buy n8.
It’s sad even though he has said he will look at android and IOS, he has no choice really .Gravity was the best there to be honest but it had a shelf life.
So where does this leave gravity now?
Will there be continued support?
Great question lets give Jan Ole a tweet shall we?
He has said he will support until death, which won’t be to long…
he will support till symbian is dead, after all this is all he has
Looks like that’s all he will have too,he has missed the boat with other OS’S..
