I have had the Lumia 900 in my hands for only a few days now and So far I am impressed. The first thing you notice about this phone is the size. At 4.3 inches this thing is not a small phone. After using the Lumia 900 for a little bit going back to my N9 or the Lumia 800 seems just plain weird.
While this phone is a big phone, the all in one body style make it usable one handed for the most part. I personally have smaller hands and it is very rare that I could not send a text, check my Facebook/Twitter or do other normal everyday things with one hand.
The screen itself is bright and vivid, while you could tweak the Lumia 800 to make it look like the 900, everything seemed crisper and clearer on the 900’s screen.
The front facing camera seems to do a great job for what it was intended for. While you will not get fantastic stills with it I have tested it and it does it’s intended duty very well for making video calls. There is a very easy to figure out button on the screen to switch from the the main camera to 1mp front facing camera.
I have been getting a little over a day out of battery life on the 900. This is very impressive to me given the size of the screen and how I never put it down the entire day. I used it for everything during the day from, MP3 player, to E-Reader, to WiFi hotspot, etc…
At this point the best I can sum up my first few day with the 900 is like this: The 900 is like Nokia took everything that was good about the 800 and made it great! The screen is bigger and better, the camera has improved, the battery has improved, even the speaker sounds better. (this one could be my imagination though)
As I spend more time with 900 I will do more in depth review of each part of the phone but for now just know that I am impressed!
