The chart of above is from SurvivalCraft’s game analytics from Europe which simply shows what phone people are using as they play the game. As you can see the Nokia Lumia 800 is far and away the most used Windows Phone on this chart. It’s ahead of it’s nearest rival by 12% and the second runner up by 18%.
While these numbers are only the people who are playing SurvivalCraft and are not a true count of all the Windows Phones in Europe it is a very popular game which would make it fairly representative of the market as a whole.
If you look even deeper at the other “2nd Gen” Windows Phones they have not found the spark that the Nokia handsets have with the public. Perhaps Nokia’s statement about them making the “first true Windows Phone” was true after all.
