According to Stat Counter Windows Phone is gaining traction in Finland quicker than MeeGo. As you can see from the graph above Window Phones share has jumped quickly in Finland. In fact it has now surpassed MeeGo in terms of market share.
Don’t get me wrong it’s still a far cry from Symbian’s mammoth share but it is growing quick than MeeGo for some reason in Finland.
- Symbian 21.84%
- Windows Phone 2.35%
- MeeGo 1.62%
I wish there was more information with this data. I would like to know the why behind the OS choices made, if people left Symbian/MeeGo for Windows Phone because they are “dead” platforms or because of an advantage that Windows Phone has over with either one of them.
