The good folks at CES. Since Lenny (@the_truth34) wasn’t able to attend, I will be representing Nokia Innovation and can’t wait to report back to our users what new devices Nokia will introduce. Many are speculating that Nokia will be introducing the new Windows Phone device(s) (900/Ace/…) for the US Market along with their successful Lumia Windows Phones and accessories (Purity). Next week will be truly an amazing week, not only because CES is in town, T Mobile will also start selling the first Nokia Windows Phone Lumia 710 on the January 11.reached out to us last December to see whether we were interested in going to
I will be meeting up with Katie, Meg, and Mala from Nokia Connects and invited bloggers (@sahaskatta, @mikemacias, , @richcampbell, @someaudioguy, @bluechrism, @cauchon, ) on Sunday. It will be great to connect(!) with fellow bloggers and share thoughts on the big announcements. I have met two bloggers at prior events: Sahas in Orlando at CTIA last year, Mike in London two years ago during Nokia World.
This will be my first time at CES and I am finally realizing this will be another Amazing experience like Nokia World 2010-2011, Social Media Week NYC 2010 and CTIA 2011.
Here’s a list of electronic items I will be bringing along with me:
- iPad 2 (FaceTime with my wife and daughter)
- E7 Joikuspot
- N8 for pictures and video
- BH-905i great travelling companion Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) mode works great for my 3.5 hr flight

Here’s a highlight of the CES schedule:
|Jan 09||Nokia Press conference at VenetianSteve Ballmer Keynote at Venetian|
|Jan 10||CES 2012 Day 1|
|Jan 11||CES 2012 Day 2Nokia Lumia 710 available at TMobileNokia VIP Party at CES|
Nokia will be holding a press conference in the Venetian hotel on January 9, 2012. It will start at 3:00 PM PST (GMT -8) and I will be tweeting from the @nokiainnovation twitter handle. We will also be at the Microsoft keynote event a few hours later.
We have also been hand-picked (I mean invited) to an invitation only Nokia VIP Party at CES, which will be held at the Centaurion Penthouse at Caesars, an 8,000 square foot penthouse overlooking the Las Vegas strip.
Ben Lower from Microsoft just tweeted that there’s a Nokia Lumia branded double decker bus that takes travelers from LAS to the hotels. It looks like there will be a lot of Lumia advertisement, similar to the Lumia 800 commercial on large screens in London Heathrow Terminal 5, Lumia taxis and airplanes in India.
I look forward to report back to you what Nokia will be releasing in the US. Feel free to leave comment or suggestions.
