As much as I love easy posts (and I do) sometimes I get tired of doing posts on the same thing over and over….This is one of those times. For the fifth time in six months
MICROSOFT IS NOT BUYING NOKIA. NOT THE WHOLE THING NOT PART OF IT…NONE OF IT.
Without going into much detail the same person that always stirs up the pot for this rumor did it again. Nokia immediately put out a statement that it wasn’t true…again.
From The Register:
Nokia’s UK communications manager David Hall denied the rumours once again:
“We have firmly scotched rumours of the smartphone division being sold to Microsoft,” he said. “We have knocked them on the head time and time again.”
Yet when I woke up this morning this rumor was all over my Twitter feed. But this is to be expected as Winston Churchill once said:
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
