In the latest bit of guessing (sorry analyzing) Deutsche Bank has new research that states that “they still believe the company could sell as many as two million units, with the phone being one of the first distributed featuring the Windows Phone software.”
Does any of this analyzing really mean anything until we get some real solid sales numbers in?? Nope, but everyone has been playing these predictions off as if they were gospel all week and Nokia’s stock has risen and dropped on them. So here is my prediction.
The Lumia will sell well…It will not be a world beater but it will get consumers and carriers to look at Nokia and Windows Phone as viable option for their hard earned money and precious shelf space. That is exactly what I think Nokia expected out this first generation of Nokia Windows Phones. They really didn’t have time to really “Nokianize” Windows Phone yet, but they now have the worlds attention for the next generation of Nokia Windows Phone that is just around the corner.
