So there seems to be some confusion among the ranks when Windows Phone Apollo will be landing on a phone near you. Last week Michael Halbherr, Executive VP for Location and Commerce, said that it’ll launch in mid-2012. But than over at Engadget they have a Microsoft source who indicated that the timing given to us by Nokia is inaccurate.
No matter when Apollo is coming what can we expect? Not much is known..NFC is expected to be on board, and a bunch of location based services. Also rumors have it that Nokia has gotten there hands deep into the Apollo project. In fact Engadget goes are far as calling Apollo a more ‘Nokia-fied’ OS.
If Nokia has as much influence in shaping Apollo as indicated, how would you like them to shape Windows Phone?
