Matt Miller’s article: “N8 versus Windows Phone 7”

Matthew Miller has a fascinating piece “How does the Nokia N8 stack up with Windows Phone 7?”. Matt Miller is the editor of the US based Nokia fan site: He also wrote “Windows Phone 7 Companion”, published by Wiley, which will be released on November 8, the same day Windows Phone 7 debuts in the United States.

Windows Phone 7 is Microsoft’s new mobile operating system and represents a complete refresh and redesign from the bottom up. The UI looks slick and modern. I am actually dying to see it myself. AT&T will launch its Windows Phone 7 next week on November 8th, coincidentally the same day I get my N8.

Many pundits lament that Symbian hasn’t kept up with the competition. Windows Phone 7 is the new kid on the block, and while untested by the public has received mostly favorable reviews by tech-bloggers. It’s an interesting comparision: Symbian, an OS in flux, and the completely rehauled and new Windows Phone 7 mobile OS.

  1. For sure a device I want to get my hands on. Did try a Windows phone a couple of years ago and didn’t like it, but this latest one is indeed getting good reviews so maybe – just maybe could be worth a possible second phone for me 🙂
