Just few days after OPK’s demotion, it did not take long for Nokia Executive VP for Mobile Solution Anssi Vanjoki to submit his resignation. Click Here for more details.
“I felt the time has come to seek new opportunities in my life. At the same time, I am 100 percent committed to doing my best for Nokia until my very last working day.”
Did you expect this from Anssi Vanjoki? Just recently I was reading an article from Anssi himself on Nokia Conversations on how motivated he is on improving Nokia and bringing it back to where it use to be in its glory days. Click Here to read the article.
In my opinion the way this thing played out is just the good ole Politics of Business. Anssi worked hard to be next CEO of Nokia, and he was snubbed when The Board Members of Nokia decided to outsource and hire a new CEO outside of Nokia.
I think Anssi Vanjoki worked hard, but its too late now.. Nokia is really falling behind in Innovation. They need new ideas from the outside world. That’s where new upcoming CEO Stephen Elop steps in.
What are you your thoughts on Exec VP for Mobile Solution Anssi Vanjoki Resignation?
Is it Sourness of no promotion?
Is it Upset over Changes?
Please let us know your thoughts, as I am just sharing my opinion.
